Little Seed Theatre began in concept in 2009, operating with 12 students inherited from Maryanne-Vale at Noosa Arts Theatre. It was then called Johanna Wallace Acting and Personal Development, a concept that still exists despite the name change in 2013 to Little Seed Theatre Company. Classes grew beyond the Noosa Arts Theatre and until 2014 the hall at Noosa Christian Outreach Church was a useful second venue. In the meantime, classes started up in Cooroy 2010, Coolum 2103, Nambour 2014 and Eumundi 2015. Little Seed also continued the work of Jodie Lewis at the conclusion of K Dance mid 2014 and at the same time launched Musical Theatre classes. A combination of a Noosa Arts Theatre refurbishment and pending State Election meant that Noosa Arts and the Church venues were unavailable for the start of 2015. At this point Little Seed established its base at the Bicentennial Centre, Sunshine Beach using The Studio and Annex to hold classes which also came to include Performance Dance.

Its not though about the location, or the growth: its about the kids and these venues have hosted an incredible number of shows over this period. Each one adding to the stage experience, team experience, lines learned, costumes, meltdown and hugs. Each event, each holiday program, each guest workshop adds to the tapestry, to the high yielding soil that Little Seed has become.
