Winter Holiday Programs
Hailing from sunny Noosa, Jordan got his professional break being cast as a live performer at Walt Disney World in Florida in 2011. After a year and a half he transferred to Disney Cruise Line in 2013 and travelled across North and South America performing live shows for thousands of Disney fans in dozens of countries. After a successful audition and contract negotiation in San Fransisco, Jordan partnered with both Royal Caribbean and DreamWorks to bring live shows to cities across China, Japan and South Korea as both an actor and cast co-ordinator. These shows finished their run after 2 years and Jordan’s now based in Shanghai, China. He teaches acting and confidence skills to Chinese kids, as well as consulting with companies who are staging shows and need help bringing the show to life in English and for a western audience. In his spare time he also tutors and freelances for companies across Asia and the Middle East. Jordan has built up a lot of experience over the years performing various shows to audiences of every nationality, and that experience converts well into compelling training for young actors looking to make their start. This Winter Jordan is coming back to Little Seed to present holiday workshops for both Primary and Secondary aged emerging actors. Jordan’s training for Primary age focuses on core competencies that can be overlooked while being trained later in life. Skills such as confidence building, self awareness, articulation, pacing and timing. Critical skills that seperate great actors can be mastered at a primary age and are built on like a strong foundation. Secondary will be taught fundamentals such as audition and presentation skills, stage and speech skills and punctuating dialogue. This workshop is definitely not to be missed.
