Little Seed is well known for its successful holiday programs! Offering training in Acting and Musical theatre, these programs are the perfect creative getaway for any performer! With a range of programs available every school holidays, there is an opportunity for everyone!

Performers this is your call to get match fit. Actors are to bring two contrasting monologues, Musical Theatre students are to bring one monologue and one solo song. You will work with two coaches over four sessions (doing your first piece with one coach and your second with the other coach). The fifth session will see a guest coach take you through a university style audition. Aimed at senior students with the intent to prepare them for their university audition rounds.

Jordan got his start on the stage in 2011 after being hired and cast by Walt Disney World in Florida to perform in parades and shows across for all four parks as well as for TV spots and Disney Channel. After that he secured shows aboard Disney Cruise Line where, after 5 contracts, he secured a chance with DreamWorks to open shows for the Chinese market aboard Royal Caribbean ships travelling between China, Japan, and South Korea. After a two year run he relocated to China permanently as an acting teacher at a brand new performing arts centre in Shanghai. After the pandemic, Jordan continues to teach drama while also assisting in the reopening of three previously shuttered drama studios around Shanghai as well as assisting the Chinese Government in developing and launching new drama curriculums city-wide.

James Millar is a multi-award winning Australian actor and writer. He is the author of the musical drama ‘The Hatpin’, the song cycle ‘LOVEBiTES’ and multi-award winning semi-autobiographical ‘A Little Touch of Chaos’ as well as the stage adaptions ‘The Dressmaker’ and ‘Truckstoppers’. He graduated from the University of Technology Sydney as a Writing and Contemporary Culture graduate.
James is also a graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
He is the recipient of five green room awards, two Sydney Critics Awards and The Helpmann Award for best actor in a musical.
He has appeared in ‘Oklahoma!’ for The Production Company, ‘The Adventures of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie’ for Company B Belvoir, played the role of Peter in Sondheim's ‘Company’ at Sydney's Theatre Royal, as Chucky in ‘Jerry Springer: The Opera’ at the Sydney Opera House, and for Ensemble Theatre, played the lead role of Mitchell Green in the Australian premiere of ‘The Little Dog Laughed’, appeared in the Australian Premiere of ‘Grey Gardens’ for The Production Company, ‘The Ring Cycle’ at The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, and toured the UK in ‘Chess’ as Molokov.
For television, James has performed in ‘A Country Practice’, ‘Water Rats’, ‘Police Rescue’, ‘The Leaving of Liverpool’, ‘Home and Away’ and the award winning film ‘The Eternity Man’.
In April 2015, it was announced that James would play Miss Trunchbull in the Australian premiere season of Matilda the Musical for which he won the Helpmann Award for best actor. He followed this successful run with a star turn as Alan Bennett opposite Miriam Margolyes in the Melbourne Theatre Company’s The Lady in the Van. And most recently played The Baker in “Into the Woods” for Watch This in Melbourne, and the Northern Irish Opera Company with WAO in Perth.
As a director, James has worked for every major drama school in Australia and most recently directed ‘Sweeney Todd’ at the Elder Conservatorium in Adelaide.
Currently, he is touring as host and interlocutor for Miriam Gargoyle’s national tour ‘Oh, Miriam’.

Terms and Conditions
By enrolling in a Holiday program you are agreeing to the following
All Holiday Program tuition includes a non-refundable deposit of $50.00. This fee is to be paid upfront at the point of enrolment to secure your place. Please note that if you do not pay this fee at the time of enrolment, your spot is not secure and may be filled. Remaining tuition will be added to your account balance and is due one week advance of the program start date.
In the event you need to cancel your booking, please contact our team immediately. No show participants will be charged the full program tuition. Cancellation 7 days or more prior to a program will result in a choice between refund or credit excluding the deposit. Cancellation within 7 days of the program will result in a credit excluding the deposit. The deposit charged is per student, not per family as this is part of the full tuition. Please ensure prior to booking that you are able to make the dates of the program. In the event a credit has been applied to your account, this can not be exchanged for a refund.
Tuition for all holiday programs is due one week in advance of the program start date. If tuition is not paid by this date, we will be in contact to confirm whether you will be attending or not. The place may be forfeited and given to someone on the waitlist.
Students must be collected promptly at the end each day/session. Additional information will be communicated regarding the end of week of showcase (if applicable) and pickup time on the final day.
For our 5 day primary holiday workshops, there will be a in house performance at 2pm on the final day of the workshop to showcase the work created throughout the week. Information regarding this performance will be communicated to parents during the week of the program.
Little Seed staff will be on premises 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the program each day. Please do not drop your child off before this time as we can not guarantee they will be supervised.
Students are required to bring pre-packed morning tea, lunch and water for each day of the workshop.
Little Seed Holiday programs abide by the same code of conduct outlined in our Student Handbook. No abuse, harassment or bullying is tolerated at all. If a student is removed from a program for one of these reasons, no refund will be issued. This document is emailed to you upon registration.
