This is where we lay our scene: the short walk through the gardens falls to a breathtaking view of the lake framed by the spectacular Greco roman styled amphitheatre. Upon a stage, costumed characters play their part in restoring this ancient banter to the modern audience whom meanwhile feasts on both performance and goods within their baskets, sipping wine and absorbing the moment. Much Ado About Nothing celebrated 5 years of Shakespeare at the Lake and saw audiences belly-laughing, almost crying and then wildly clapping the next.
